The new Riverbend all-abilities park has transformed a former industrial precinct into a major recreational destination for Launceston.

This project by City of Launceston features the Grillex Akora Shelters and Contour BBQs which perfectly compliment the facility to ensure the park is a destination for families right across the region. Colourful and unique, the Riverbend Park includes two of the largest pieces of play equipment in Australia and provides families with a true outdoor destination where they can spend the whole day – providing not only a fantastic park infrastructure asset for the local community, but also driving important economic benefits via tourism for the entire region.
